Mike Mitchell is an award winning Australian recording and touring musician, songwriter & multi-instrumentalist. For the better part of 15 years Mike toured the world with Australian and international acts performing at some the greatest venues on the planet including Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado and the London Palladium culminating in a residency with a Las Vegas headliner on the strip.
Now based in South East Asia Mike is fast becoming one of the most sort after session musicians in the Australasian region due to the fact that he can deliver on virtually any instrument. Every instrument on his original tracks is performed by himself. This ability gives Mike a unique approach to writing and the ability to pitch songs to artists with strong ideas for drum tracks, bass lines, rhythm and solo guitar ideas, piano/keyboard/hammond parts, and of coarse hooks, melodies, harmonies and mixing/mastering ideas to suit a songs style and intent.
Whether in the studio or writing with a guitar or piano Mike brings a balanced and reasoned point of view to the craft of songwriting & collaboration, along with a passionate and meticulous work ethic to literally every part of it’s process.
