About Stephen:
Steve Clark is a Chicago songwriter and theatre composer. He has written three full-length musicals (Slide, Jim and Dave‘s Blood Meets Jupiter, Of Moonjays & Motorcycles), all of which received productions or readings in the last three years. His songs have been performed with the social justice theater Scrap Mettle S.O.U.L., the experimental Tantalus Theatre Group, the folk-rock band The New Switcheroo, and the quirky bar band The Grandkids. For the past four years, his acoustic song cycle The Haunting of Old Ebenezer was seen in pubs throughout Chicago. The hour-long Christmas song-cycle will receive a full production in 2015. He is currently writing stories and songs for an upcoming sci-fi comic book musical, as well as underscoring live literature with his folk duo Brakes on the Highway.
